Hex Map Builder is a free, browser-based hex map editor for The Fantasy Trip megahex labyrinths, GURPS tactical combat maps, BattleTech hex boards, Traveller encounters, and other hex-grid games. Paint fantasy or sci-fi terrain and feature overlays, place numbered room keys with notes, rotate tiles, undo changes, and export PNG, PDF, or JSON — no account and no install. Choose pointy-top or flat-top hexes and Ink (pen + wash) or Classic art. On phones, the map stays on screen with tiles in edge drawers; on desktop, use the side palettes and keyboard shortcuts.
